単身赴任先にある湖畔で写した朝日。
「ここには何もないよ」と出会った方々によく言われる。
そうかい？

It was taken photo in near my living place at the morning last sunday.
Every citizen I met says such like "This city has no feature".
Really? I don't think so.

悔やまれる事がいくつか。
ひとつはISOをAUTOにしていた為3200で撮影してしまった事。
I regret the taken photo something.
I was set preference ISO to "Auto", for It make settled ISO 3200.

R.R.R.

Almost all, rail made by a steel.
Always train spreads red stain from rail around road.
This is "R.R.R." mean Red Rail Road.

レールというものは鉄から出来ているのが普通です。
鉄道車はレールからアカサビを周辺にまき散らかしてます。
なのでR.R.R.になります。

写真を撮ってたら鉄道がこちらに向かってきて、クラクションを鳴らされました。

はじめてハッカを見せてもらいました。
こんなに大きい樹木だとは思いもよらなかった。
葉は固く曲げるとパキリと折れます。

In my office, lizard walk on the floor.
This is called "Nihon Tokage" in Japanese means "Japan Lizard".
She has the tail what reflects light blue, It is feature of the Lizard's childhood.

小動物がいる職場。まぁ危害を加えるわけではないし、こんな小動物なら別にもっと居てもいいかなぁ
さてさてこれはニホントカゲと呼ばれている日本固有のトカゲの幼生です。
怪しく青く光る尾がこの幼生の特徴です。
カナヘビと間違えそうですが正真正銘のトカゲですね。
今回で２個体目の捕獲です。いずれも外に逃がしてあげています。

Tradition Festival in center of ogawa district.
We could see old building downtown.
I heard that festival goin heat up along sunset, fes climax comes at night.
There is hanging things are lanterns which are called "Cho-chin" in Japanese
They are very important item for the festival.
Japanese style wear suits to festival mood.


旧市街でのお祭りです。
街並みに古い建物が残っています。
夕方から盛り上がる祭りらしく、夜がクライマックスだそうです。
提灯は祭りの雰囲気を盛り上げる肝心なアイテムです。
街並みとお孫さんの浴衣姿がベストマッチ。

Although, I saw no people on the street,
I could hear echo noise of the children laughing air over the house roof.
I couldn't grasp anything from my place.

とはいうものの、街には人っ子一人見当たりません。
しかしガヤガヤ周りから子供たちの笑い声はこだましています。

We didn't see any apology comments from the notice.
It must be more natural to attend to festivals than open their shops.

They respond me with a polite "No problem",
and they moved into ready to take a group photo,
I asked them again "May I have your behave to be natural ?",

町人を発見
「写真撮っていいですか～？」とコワい兄ちゃん達に尋ねたら
「いーんじゃねーすかー」とワリと気さくに返事してくれ、一ヶ所に集まりだした。
集合写真になりかけたので「自然に振る舞っていいですよ」と言ったら自然に振る舞ってくれました。
悪そうなワカモノも祭りを盛り上げる必須のコワモテ

Oh I got! Here they are laughing children nearby temple.
The temple exists Opposite side of the festival Shrine.
Town People talk together, children run around together.
They seem to enjoy time going slowly until festival start.
It is ancestor's tradition for hundreds years.

あーらら。ここに居たのですね。
道路を境に神社と相対する寺社の隣の広場で子供たちがワンサカ走り回って騒いでました。
始まる前のゆーったりした時間を過ごすもう一つのお祭りです。
何百年と受け継がれてきた伝統の祭りです

My living area is humidity high.
This environment is horrible for human, but not bad at all for plant.
Building Wall has covering green.
The green veil seems Something strange.
Wall was occupied from top to down.
If nobody care the green, the Green seems to be invade everything


湿度がすごい。
この湿度、人には快適さなんて感じさせませんけど植物にとっては最高なんでしょう
ほら。壁が緑で覆われてきてます
でもこの植物の生え方ってちょっと変じゃないでしょうか?
上から覆いかぶさるように浸食されていってます?
誰も管理してないと、全てを飲みこんでしまう勢いです

Swallows & the High economic growth

Tile-roofed structure is shop and home.
I asked owner to permit to take some photoes,
He willingly told me to take nicely.
Conversation going on, I've learned so many things at one time.
I heard It had constructed after near postwar.
Full open, no border, air, sound and birds come from outside.

Birds!?

Yes! birds!

Swallows lives inside this shop.
Almost all Japanese says like that,
"There is a prosperity where the swallows make their nest "


瓦屋根のお店。住宅も兼ねている昔ながらの古いお店がありました。
店主に写真をとらせてもらっていいかを尋ねた所、どうぞどうぞと快諾してくださいました。
お話は一方的に盛り上がり、この店が戦後すぐくらいに作られた事もお話の中から。
つばめが店内に巣をつくっちゃって、畳に新聞紙を敷きつめてました。
店主の困惑の表情の中にも優しい笑顔があることにホッとします。

日本には言い伝えがありまして、日本の多くの方も同様に信じています。
「つばめの巣が作られるところには福がやってきますんねや」というもの。

軒天井に燕の巣。ひながみえるかな?

I found it at Hitachino Agricultural cooperative, stock space beside it.
Sign shows "Koh-Bai-Bu"which means "purchase department".
In Japan, sometimes Koh-Bai-Bu has to sell goods like a Sales division.
Koh-Bai-Bu had to keep employee the stuffs until closing.
The roof seems to be made by zinc.
These number of roof is symbol of the construction in the high economic growth period.

By the way....The shop constructed before high economic growth period has been standing still,
the other one constructed on the growth period had closed a shutter.

Did people banish swallows?.
I didn't find swallows at this place
Swallows brings prosperity. Is this true superstition?


こちらはひたち野農協の倉庫近くにある場所。
購買部ってデカデカとそこまで書かなくても。
屋根はトタン屋根で高度経済成長の頃に非常に多く作られたコスト重視の建築かな

さて・・・高度経済成長前からある古いお店がなんとか生きつづけ、
同様の時期の最中につくられたであろう店のシャッターはクローズ。
つばめの姿が見えなかったのがなんとも不思議だった。
人がいなくなるとつばめもいなくなるのかね

Always granma has been a part of the register

Sorry for my poor English.
I found powerful granma shop in my small city.
She explained the story of her shop like a machine-gun.
I heard many granmas helping this shop, purchasing many produces.
Helping each other had grown into organization establishment
two years after shop launching.
The shop is operated by granma rotate jobs.
Today, She's turn comes up.
She didn't use a register unit, but she touches a small calicurator like a specialist.

元気なお婆ちゃんが店員で、聞いてもいないのに歴史まで語り始めちゃって。
それだけこの店に愛着があるんだろう。
世代の似通ったお婆ちゃんらが組織をつくり、当番制で運営しているこの店。
徹底的にスリム。
だってレジすらないんだもん。
そんなもんが無くたって運営してきたのが昔のカアチャン達なんだな～

"ichi" means "bazar"
"chokubai" means "farmers sell their produces directly"

I visited pear farmer who lives in my small city.
They invited me to show his pear field. The Pear field spreaded enormous,
well groomed field is very nice condition.
Would you take a look the leaves thru the soft sunlight.

地元の梨農家を訪問しました。
梨園を案内してもらい、手入れの行き届いた環境がどんなものか知りました。
葉脈がはっきりと確認でき、葉の周辺部に痛みもなく隅々まで生き生きとしています。

Here is center of Japan at A.C.800.
Name is "Hitachi So-ja-gu".
Hitachi is old name of the Ibaraki prefecture.
So-ja-gu means similar "the Central shrine pavilion"

西暦800年代、今の茨城県の石岡市周辺は常陸と呼ばれてたようです。
しかも総社宮という神社の総元締めが日本の各地に配置されてたようです。
その一つがこの常陸総社宮。
日本の中心というわけですな。

It shows us "オスナ" means "don't push", "ニコゝ" is onomatopoeia that means "Keep Smiling".

Last year, the aftershock attacked 4/21 2011. Japan had stood in the dark.
