Satoyama::Hard to translate word

里山。里山とは人里近くにある、生活に結びついた山や森林。薪(たきぎ)や山菜の採取などに利用される。人の手が入ることで生態系のつりあいがとれている地域を指し、山林に隣接する農地と集落を含めていうこともある。

"Satoyama" is human life environment based on mountain and forest nature. People seeds, and cut tree for stove, nature harvest from forest. Satoyama indicate that a area balanced by Human acting. Other mean conclude agricultural area and whole village.

高速道路を北上するにつれ、道路を照らす街灯が少なくなっていくのをご存じですか？
交通量も少なくなるので、それに合わせているのでしょうね。道路を照らしているランプの密度が高いか低いかで田舎度が測れそうです。今度やってみようかな。今回の写真は高速道路も一般道も混合しているので比較になっていませんので悪しからず。

Do you know that Road lights decrease along north toward. It might as match as amount of traffic. lamp density may should be a measure for urban or the country. These photoes are mixed with general and highway road.

Feb Breeze, Nagasaki::Kyushu District

ドロドロした欲望の赴くまま、夜の長崎をさるく

大分県から移動。大切な長崎の知り合いの車に乗せてもらい高速道路を約四時間。その知り合いの自宅に宿泊をお招き頂いたのですが、お互い長期出張だったので、ご家族とご一緒にお過ごしくださいなとやんわりご辞退。そしてその日は長崎市内にて宿泊。長崎県には度々来ているのだがいつも大村市泊まり。長崎市内の繁華街近くでひとりで過ごす機会は「そういえば滅多に無いな」と気づく。もうすぐ寝る時間だったがチャンスを無駄にする気がして急にモッタイナイと思えてきた。迷ってても時間ばかり過ぎて行く。一念発起してホテルから外に出た。二月に吹く北国の風なら凍死するけど長崎の夜風の温度は全く寒くない。その風にあたりながら光と色と形を探索しに出る。街の魅力って何なのかなぁと、アンテナの赴くままに"さるく"のもまたよし。結果、この日の自分の欲望を音であらわすと、テクテクトコトコキョロキョロってなモンでした。"さるく"とは長崎の方言で、いわゆるお散歩の事を指すようです。

Move to Nagasaki, on Highway toll road from Oita by my friend car. Then friend invites me his home to stay, I really delighted his invitation. I declined his welcome because two of us were leave a house whole a week. I said him that it's the day you spend more time with your family today. For, I stayed in Nagasaki city. I used to stay in Ohmura city when I visit Nagasaki always, It is rare case to stay near central city. Nagasaki is famous for Rail Bus. When I arrived to Hotel, went to walk around hotel to watch rail and road. The wind in Febrary is comfortable warm. I got walk while stay focused on my interested in to find the light, color and shape.

おばけを撮影してしまいました。

フラッシュを使っていないこの写真はどちらも夕暮れ
かすかな光がある暗い場所では見間違えることがしばしばあります。
カメラでも昼間には良い人に写せたのに、夜にはおばけになってしまったり

水戸芸術館とJR日立駅にて撮影。
上の写真は磯崎新と三上建築事務所の設計による水戸芸術館。
下は妹島和代設計のJR東日本常磐線の日立駅舎。
残像がかすかに残っていますが、気づきますか?

A Part of Eight Views

In winter at dusk, It is just like the "Shu-getsu". Full Moon from the thin cloud.

Shu-getsu means "Autumn Moon" in Japanese, Like poetary saying - a part of "Eight Views". It name of veiw is formed from the "Eight Views of Xiaoxiang". Misty light from the Moon brings us special view like something afflated.

冬だけど秋月。 月からの光だけで見えるのは実際にはかなり絞られています。

Unlike in always day

雪が降り、ちょっとしたパニックがあちこちで起きていました。
雪が積もるだけなのですが、がらりと風景が変わりいつもと違う日常が現れます。
雪が降ると、見えてなかった"誰かさん"の行動の痕跡が見えます。
ハンコみたいなモノとでもいいましょうかね

足跡、タイヤ痕、沢山の人の存在。こんな所をこんな風に歩いてたんだ。走ったんだその人。みたいな

Accumulated snow shows us invisible somebody's marking.
Like a moment stamp.
Footprints, chew tracks into snow, exist number of people.

Accumulated roof show us how much of snow fall.
Too many tiled roof is in this city and around.
The snow on tiled roof isn't good for house.
Iced on the roof because snow is not drop off.
Heavy roof becoming more heavy.
In heavy snowfall area, people don't use tiled roof because of a snow.

Wall along a road with poor lighting

ほとんど街灯のない路上をテクテク散歩。
車が通るとヘッドライトで照らされた壁にコントラストが現れます

写真では明るく写っていますが、実際は真っ暗で何っにも見えないです。きっとこんな風に撮れてると思っていました。思い通りに撮れました。ウソです。

Taking a walk on the street which has few lighting.
Appear the long bright shadow and the wall comes up shining brighter and brighter by the Vehicle's head light.

Going into Black

Last year, the aftershock attacked 4/21 2011. Japan had stood in the dark.
There is too many bodies in the attacked area, nuclear power plant had continued contamination, and government malfunction coused dissapointment that covered people's mind. Every people hung in a difficult situation.

The shot is main street about my home town.
Electoric black out covered my home town.
It was coused by first huge aftershock.
